Shillong, Aug 19: Meghalaya Speaker Thomas Sangma on Monday accepted the merger of three Congress MLAs Celestine Lyngdoh( Umsning), Charles Marngar (Mawhati) and Gabriel Wahlang ( Nongstoin) with NPP.
The speaker in his order said out of the total four Congress MLAs, majority MLAs numbering 3 merged with the NPP.

Ronnie is the lone MLA remaining with the Congress. Gambegre seat is vacant after Saleng Sangma quit as MLA and was elected to the Parliament from Tura.
Earlier, Congress had suspended Marngar and Wahlang.
