Shillong, Nov 12: The special Covid vaccination stalls set up on important occasions have hardly any takers .
At the venue of the inauguration of the new district at Mairang, a well decorated Covid vaccination stall (in picture) was put up with sufficient staff to attract people to take vaccination.

However, when asked, the staff said not a single individual came for vaccination.
Earlier during the bypolls, in Mawponghong polling booth under Mawphlang, there was.a facilitation centre for Covid vaccination with two staff but they waited in vain.
Meghalaya has lowest vaccination rate and the government is adopting various means to increase the coverage.
