Shillong, Jan 18: Meghalaya SSA teachers’ association will resort to agitation on January 21 by holdingĀ black flag protest and candle light vigil at Police Bazar.
The protest during the statehood day celebrations is against the delay in releasing salary for October, November and December.

Only 10 members will take part in the protest due to Covid.
The president of the association, Aristotle Rymbai said as per the Constitution, they have a right to protest and the teachers are not running away from their responsibilities during Covid.
‘”The protest is since the government has failed to release the pending dues, he said.
