SHILLONG, JAN 16: The state government has proposed a Budget session from February 16 to 27, subject to the approval of the Governor.
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma told reporters on Friday that the government has proposed the dates for the budget session from February 16 to 27 and is awaiting approval of the Governor.

“We have proposed to the Governor, and we are waiting for the Governor to call the sitting of the Assembly for the budget session. Once the Governor approves and gives the order, it will be formalized, but we have proposed it,” he said.
