Shillong, Aug 29: Seven deaths and 265 cases were reported in the last 24 hours in the state.
According to the Covid status, among the seven deaths, four are due to non- vaccination.

The new recoveries stood at 332.
East Khasi Hills tops with 116 new cases followed by Ri Bhoi 49, West Khasi Hills 33, West Jaintia Hills 28 and South West Khasi Hills 18. Cases in other districts are East Jaintia Hills 10,East Garo Hills 4, South West Garo Hills 1 and West Garo Hills 6.
There are no cases in South Garo Hills and North Garo Hills.
