Synshar Thabah sworn in as MLA

Shillong,May 16: UDP member Synshar Lyngdoh Thabah who was elected from Sohiong took oath as MLA on Tuesday.

Unlike the past, the swearing-in ceremony was held at the lawn of old Asembly at Khyndailad as there was larger number of people from Sohiong.

Assembly Deputy Speaker Timothy Shira  administered the oath.

UDP legislators, including party president Metbah Lyngdoh, senior party leaders and supporters from Sohiong were present.
