Shillong. Jan 31: Several thieves are active in the Krep Sing Swer Road area, Laban, at night.
An advocate, who is residing in the area, informed that the thieves enter houses of the residents by opening the windows at night when people are asleep.

“They take away goods, they attempted my house too”, the lawyer said.
Police have yet to be informed about the matter.
According to a resident, it would be tough for the police to catch them as they are ‘smart’ thieves.
“People should be alert and vigilant to prevent theft at night”, the resident added.
