Two cryogenic oxygen plants to come up in state
Shillong, May 20: Meghalaya will set up two cryogenic oxygen plants that will help to refill oxygen.
Principal secretary in-charge health and family welfare, Sampath Kumar said on Thursday that while one will be set up in Shillong, another one will come up in West Garo Hills.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma inspected the cryogenic oxygen plant at Jengjal in West Garo Hills. The levelling of land and civil works are underway and effort is being made by the authorities to get the cryogenic tanks within three weeks.
He informed that on completion of the plant, it will cater to the needs of five districts of Garo Hills and parts of West Khasi Hills.
