Warbah from Tynring(28), East Khasi Hills drowned in Umrynjah river under Mawlai Block on June 7 while Kantly Maram (49) Nongkro Rambrai under Nongstoin , West Khasi Hills was killed due to lighting on June 12 due to the natural calamity related incidents during monsoon in the state.
Large scale devastation was reported in the state for the last one week.
