Shillong, May 29: Two MPs-both Lok Sabha avd Rajya Sabha- from Madhya Pradesh met Chief Secretary DP Wahlang here on Thursday to trace the missing Indore couple in Sohra.
According to the chief secretary, he assured assistance and briefed them about the status of the search operations.
Earlier, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said the government is making efforts to find out the whereabouts of the couple.
The chief minister, who received a call from Union Home Minister’s office is personally monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
He said besides the police, the entire village and community of the area are also participating in the ongoing search.
Tourism Minister Paul Lyngdoh has said the image of Sohra is not affected by the missing couple’s case.
