Shillong, Jan 21: Two more HNLC members, including the one who has been l absconding, were arrested in connection with the Dhar company case.
According to East Jaintia Hills SP Vikash Singh, in continuation of the investigation into the explosion that occurred at the Dhar construction company campus near Shymplong village, East Jaintia Hills District, on December 15, 2025, a joint operation was conducted by the East Jaintia Hills Police and West Jaintia Hills Police during the intervening night. As a result of the operation, the following persons were arrested:
1. Issei Sungoh @ Sei @ Bah (29), s/o Iphaida Sungoh, a resident of Mynso B, P.S. Jowai, West Jaintia Hills District.
2. Embha Ladong (25), s/o Eselian Ladong, a resident of Shymplong, P.S. Lumshnong, East Jaintia Hills District.
Both the accused were produced before the court, which has granted six days of police custody.
