Two state players in U-17 women’s football national squad

Shillong, Aug 17: Two state players- Bonifilia Shullai and Alisha Lyngdoh-were included in the 23-member Indian National Squad for this year’s South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-17 Women’s Championship in Bhutan.

This was announced by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on social media.

“So proud to see the names of two players from Meghalaya in the 23-member Indian National Squad for this year’s South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) U-17 Women’s Championship in Bhutan. Congratulations and best wishes to Bonifilia Shullai, Mid fielder from Shillong and Alisha Lyngdoh, Defender from East Jaintia Hills. Let’s cheer for Team India!”
