
Shillong, March 3: The UDP, TMC and others are exploring an alternative coalition to thwart the attempt of the NPP-BJP to form the new government.
When contacted, UDP leader Allantry Dkhar said he is in a meeting.

TMC state president Charles Pyngrope admitted that efforts are on for an alternative coalition.
To a question, he said it is upto the UDP to stake claim since it has more numbers.
He hoped that others, including the VPP, will support the effort.
