Shillong,Dec 30: The United Democratic Party (UDP) has released its second list of nine candidates to contest the KHADC & JHADC polls on Feb 21.
Six candidates are for JHADC and three for KHADC.
The candidates for JHADC are Medling M Swer – War East, Kat Kassar – War Central, Shlur Lamin – War West, Damian S War – Mynsngat Khanduli, Rimilanki Synnah – Nartiang-Wahiajer, Wailad Siangshai – Musniang Rangad.
The KHADC, candidates are Suly Lyngdoh – Mawsynram, Gilbert Laloo – Mylliem and Ryngkatlang Lyndem – Langkyrdem Laitkroh.
Till date, the party cleared 35 candidates of which 19 are for KHADC and 16 for JHADC.
Speaking at a meeting held at the party office, UDP president Metbah Lyngdoh said, “We are confident that the party will win the upcoming elections.”
