We the undersigned, concerned villagers of village Askikandi, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya, beg to state the following facts for favour of your kind information, consideration and necessary action thereon.
1. That, Shri. Soyod Zaman, a resident of village Askikandi, a government employee (Agriculture Inspector) to the department of Agriculture, Government of Meghalaya, in the district of South West Garo Hills, Ampati, Meghalaya, is also working at the post of Gaon Bura of village Askikandi, is a clear violation of the Meghalaya Service (Conduct) Rules.
2. That, apparently, it could be presumed that his working as Gaonbura is doubtful with vested and mala fide interest and intention which amounts to a misconduct and stand to be canceled with immediate effect. Moreover, we the villagers of the concerned village don’t want a government employee as our Gaonbura. A government employee cannot discharge his duty as a Gaonbura properly in order to maintain his regular government duty.
3. That, the government employee of your department, Shri. Soyod Zaman, contravened the provision of the said rule and for which departmental and legal action is to be initiated by the authority concerned and hence this complaint petition.
In light of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the concerned public of village Askikandi do hereby seeking suspension and termination of Shri. Soyod Zaman for his misconduct in the interest of justice and fair play and it is also humbly prayed that your honour may kindly be pleased to allow this complaint petition and to initiate departmental inquiry, thereby taking punitive and legal action against Shri. Soyod Zaman so that no one would dare to do such illegal and unlawful act again.
