Shillong, Aug 18: The Voice of the People Party (VPP) has asked the government to terminate the contract given to Deputy Chief Monster Sniawbhalang Dhar’s brother Rocky Dhar for allotment of the ground floor of the Meghalaya House, Kolkata for business purpose.
In his letter to the Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, VPP general secretary Dr Ricky AJ Syngkon said, “The party vehemently opposes such unreasonable and unethical decision which is at the cost of the government department/corporation in general and the indigenous producers/artisans of the state in particular.
“Therefore, we would like you to kindly intervene into this matter and take immediate and necessary action to stop this contract by the concerned department with M/S Rocky Dhar in the interest of the state and its people,” he added.
