Shillong, June 18: Voice of the People Party (VPP) has lodged an FIR with East Khasi Hills SP against minister Rakkam Sangma for hate speech during the Lok Sabha poll campaign.
The FIR filed by VPP finance secretary Danny Langstieh pointed out that prior to the Lok Sabha polls, a video clip went viral where it was seen and heard that the minister concerned in an election meeting made statements that were a direct attack against the VPP and allegations were made that the party will destroy, kill, oppress and annihilate other communities which is totally false, concocted and incorrect.
