Shillong, Dec 18: The Voice of the People Party (VPP) has threatened to resume its agitational programme if the state government fail to release the report of the expert committee reviewing Meghalaya’s job reservation policy.
In an open statement to the Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday, VPP President and Nongkrem legislator Ardent Basaiawmoit stated that six months have passed since the report’s submission, yet the government remains reluctant to make it public.

“However the state government seems not to be willing to make it public till today despite repeated reminders from the party,'” he said.
The VPP has warned that it will resume agitations if the government fails to announce the report immediately.
