Shillong, Jan 22: Photos and videos of polluted Nirang village under West khasi hills are being widely circulated suggesting illegal coal mining in several areas of the district.
The acidic water joins Wahptit(river Wahptit) and then flows to Ranikor, said social activist Agnes Kharshiing quoting a source who took the pictures and captured the visuals.
