According to the BJP leader, the youths want the Central leaders to acknowledge that huge corruption has ruined Garo Hills and the only hope the people, particularly the youths have, is the BJP.

“They saw their parents who are mostly daily wage earners, labourers, casual workers, teachers, GHADC employees, muster rolls and others have witnessed the hardships their parents faced, which left most of the youths being dropouts as they could not afford the fees. Lives have been badly affected and they want to work for change in the society”, Marak said.
