Shillong, Oct 21: Twenty two lawyers joined the Bharatiya Janata Party at an event held at the state party office in Shillong, on Friday.
In a statement, the party said the lawyers expressed confidence that only a BJP government could properly manage the law and order situation of the state.

They also placed their hope for a National Law School in Meghalaya under a BJP led government.
They invited more members of the legal fraternity to support the BJP.
