Shillong, July 3: The state recorded six deaths and 460 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday.
East Khasi Hills reported four deaths and the two districts in Jaintia Hills had one death each. With this, the state’s Covid-19 toll reached 855.

Of the new cases, 190 are in East Khasi Hills, the highest among the districts. West Garo Hills is second on the list with 67 new Covid-19 cases followed by Ri Bhoi at 56. The number of active cases stands at 4,584.
The day’s recoveries were at 522.
