Mukul wants to know why Shillong medical college project scrapped
Shillong, March 9: Opposition Leader Mukul Sangma wanted to know from the state government why the PPP mode agreement with KPC company to start a medical college was scrapped.
It was diring the tenure of erstwhile Congress-led government under the leadership of Mukul that the agreement was signed .

Mukul said the purpose of establishing the medical college at Reid Chest Hospital at Barapathar was looking at the convenience since the Civil Hospital was nearby.
He said the delay in starting the work was due to the fact that it took time for shifting the TB hospital to Mawdiangdiang.
Mukul also said the Tura medical college, a state funded upcoming project was mooted after getting support from the Centre.
