Earlier on Saturday, in another incident, a vehicle was also vandalised by the miscreants.

According to an FIR filed by the victim hailing from Lower Lumparing and identified as Mintu Debnath, at 1.30 pm around 8 to 10 people aged between 25 to 30 years came to his shop at Pan Bazar in Iewduh (Bara Bazar) and assaulted him.
The FIR said the miscreants also verbally abused him.
The victim said he can identify one of the miscreants.
In the earlier incident, Angshuman Dutta from Lower Mawprem, in his FIR, said that his vehicle parked near Presbyterian Church, Upper Mawprem was vandalised and sought action from the police.
