Shillong, July 26: The NPP women’s wing condemned the attempted attack on Chief Minister Conrad Sangma in Tura on July 24.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, various leaders of the NPP women’s wing said that violence is not a solution to the many grievances of the people.
Damelari Ryntathiang, working president Women’s Wing , East Khasi Hills said that violence and harming others is not the answer to solving problems.
The chief minister was in Tura ready to discuss the grievances of many groups, she said
“I appeal to all sections of society to find solution to the problem in a peaceful and amicable manner”, she added.
