Shillong, Sep 26:The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) along with Shillong Municipal Board on Tuesday inspected trade licence in shops located in Keating Road.
During the inspection, they found most of the shops operated without documents and they were using trade licenses of 2010 and did not renew them. During inspection, the NGO found that there were many shops belonging to the non-tribals.

The FKJGP has asked the non-tribals who have shops in the area to recruit a local person in every shop.
