Shillong, June 24: The state government has temporarily discontinued the supply work of manufacturer, Continental Milkose Ltd, following the alleged diversion of rice belonging to social welfare department to Assam.
Fortified food is made from the rice supplied under the Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) by the manufacturer.

Social Welfare Minister Kyrmen Shylla said the government will also wait for the report from the Assam police to take a final decision on the matter.
