Shillong, Apr 19: The state election machinery has filed a case against HANM leader Lamphrang Kharbani for circulating the picture of EVM where he cast his vote for NPP candidate Ampareen Lyngdoh.

He also commented on voting for the book symbol.
Chief Electoral Officer BDR Tewari confirmed filing case.
He said action is being taken by the Returning Officer.
When contacted, Kharbani said, “I will speak about it tomorrow” .
