Shillong, Oct 1: Former Chief Minister DD Lapang quit the post of advisor to the MDA goverment, on Tuesday.
In 2018, Lapang was appointed chief advisor to Meghalaya government and subsequently continued as advisor from this year.
In his resignation letter addressed to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Tuesday , Lapang said, “It is with a profound sense of reflection and gratitude that I announce my retirement from the position of Advisor to the Government of Meghalaya. My journey in serving the people of Meghalaya has been nothing short of transformative. I have seen the State evolve, and I take immense pride in being part of the evolution. The challenges encountered were opportunities in disguise and each milestone is a new chapter of learning.As I bid farewell, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the trust and opportunities provided to me. I leave behind not just colleagues but a family that has stood by me through thick and thin.Kindly accept this as my resignation letter. Thank you for all the memories”
