Shillong, Dec 17: The central probe panel on NEHU affairs has submitted its report to the union education ministry
An official source said on Tuesday that the report was submitted to Delhi a few days ago.
The committee was constituted on November 14 and the panel was to submit the report within 15 days on November 29.
However, after the probe team sought extension for another 15 days from November 28, it was granted.
The order of the union ministry of education had said that ‘in light of serious concerns raised by the students, student associations, and reports in the media, the Ministry of Education has decided to constitute a committee to inquire into the alleged mismanagement and administrative failures within North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong”.
