Shillong, April 24: Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials raided several houses of coal barons and mining and geology department offices in Nongalbibra, South Garo Hills,on Thursday.
An official confirmed that the ED and GST Intelligence are raiding the area but the details are not known.

Earlier, activists had lodged several complaints regarding illegal mining and transportation of coal and tax evasion.
