Shillong,May 25: Leader of Opposition Mukul Sangma has said law of the land should prevail when the government takes decision to probe the alleged politico-militant nexus.
His response was following a query on the government turning down the demand of Congress and VPP for a probe into the HNLC allegation against deputy chief minister Sniawbhalang Dhar that he funded the outfit when he was a minister in the then Congress-led government.

“Anything which is legally relevant for authorities to take cognizance of is flagged by anybody and then the overall mandate of the law of the land must prevail, it should not be the political decision, it must be a decision in consistent with the law of the land,” Mukul told reporters.
