Shillong, June 2: The third review meeting of the High Powered Committee for the ongoing team preparation process for the 39th National Games, Meghalaya 2027, was held on Monday.
This round of review involved one-on-one interactions with eight state sports associations, which were invited to present detailed Team Preparation Plans. These plans outlined key areas, including manpower requirements, training venues, equipment needs, nutritional and dietary provisions.

The discussions focused on developing a structured benchmarking framework tailored to specific sports to supervise and monitor the selections.
