Shillong, Aug 7: VPP MP from Shillong Ricky Syngkon met the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on Thursday to discuss the issues of Khasi language recognition and ILP among others.
The MP also handed over a memorandum detailing the pending issues concerning Meghalaya

Besides Khasi language and ILP, the issues highlighted by the MP include granting INI status to NEIGRIHMS, all India reservation policy in central institutions in state, security in Assam, Bangladesh borders, consensus in resolving Assam- Meghalaya border issue and resumption of air connectivity from Shillong to Dimapur, Agartala and Silchar.
