Structured Pay System:

A well-defined pay structure has been introduced for SSA and Ad hoc teachers, replacing the earlier flat salary system.

Annual Increment Mechanism:

Yearly increment programme has been approved to ensure that teachers do not stagnate at the same salary level over long periods.

Seniority-Based Pay Enhancement:

The base salary has been revised to reflect years of service. Previously, teachers with 15 or 20 years of service were receiving the same salary as those with only one or two years of experience. To address this, service-based categories have been created, with minimum increments assigned for each of them.

Job Security and Post-Retirement Security:

To address concerns regarding job security, the cabinet has approved provisions that will ensure greater employment stability for SSA and Ad hoc teachers. Additionally, a CPF will be introduced, with contributions from both the teachers and the government, to provide financial security after retirement.

The CPF management will be implemented through a dedicated society that will oversee and manage the arrangements.
