After the cabinet reshuffle in September last year and the induction of the party president Metbah Lyngdoh into the MDA cabinet, there had been strained relations between Paul and Metbah
Paul had raised issues concerning the departments handled by Metbah outside the party forum and inside the Assembly.
According to the UDP leader, the issue of democratisation of the party was raised by him in the past.
“I am reiterating the demand”, he said.
