Shillong, April 20:The state government has decided to exclude Lumpongdeng island from the Taj tourism project.
The state government spokesperson and cabinet minister Wailadmiki Shylla told reporters on Monday that the decision was taken after the traditional chiefs under the banner of Synjuk ki Rangbah Shnong, Bhoi District met Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong.

Shylla was also present during the meeting.
Shylla appealed to the Green Tech Foundation leaders to.suspend the hunger strike following the decision.
