Shillong, May 28: The general body meeting of the UDP held at the party office here on Thursday (May 28)vaccepted Advocate VGK Kynta as the candidate to contest the bypoll to Shillong Lok Sabha seat.
The party president, Metbah Lyngdoh, announced the candidature of Kynta in the presence of MLAs, MDC, party functionaries and a large gathering.
