Shillong, June 21: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma took up the issues of airport expansion and road connectivity through the defence areas with Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, on Sunday ( June 21).
Speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said, in his brief interaction with the union minister, the airport expansion, road construction from Rilbong point to Barik, projects from Ranikor to Ratacherra and Ranikor to Dalu were taken up.

According to Conrad, connectivity from Ranikor to Dalu is strategic as the area is close to the international border.
