Shillong, Aug 6: Voice of the People Party (VPP) candidate Batskhem Marbo said the number of candidates for the bypoll will not affect him.
“We know our own politics, we know our own issues, we know our strength, our own strategy and therefore, I don’t see any threat. We are confident of winning the election,” Myrboh told reporters after he took part in the peaceful march to secretariat.
According to Myrboh, the VPP’s support base in Khasi and Jaintia Hills continues to grow, driven by the party’s commitment to clean politics and people’s issues.
“I believe we are not only able to retain the support base but we are able to increase the number of supporters,” he added.
