
Shillong, Aug 12: Health Minister Wailadmiki Shylla said with the completion of a study, the government will addressÂ
on Wednesday said the government will soon act on problems plaguing the 108 emergency ambulance service after studying a recent report.
“We had conducted a study and received the report. The NHM director has been changed and Ram Kumar has come in again. We met him earlier and he will now call the workers so we can brief them on the observations,” Shylla told reporters.
He said the department will share the findings with the workers.
“Based on that we will share with them and put forward some proposals. After that it depends on them whether they will accept or not,” he added.
The Minister said efforts are on to resolve the matter quickly.
“Soon we will try to solve this,” Shylla said.
