Shillong, Sept 16: Coffee house TATA Starbucks has announced its first store in Meghalaya, on Wednesday ( Sept 16)
The service will be available from September 19 in Shillong from 8 am to 11 pm.
A pre-event function was held in the city on Wednesday.
Commenting on the launch, Adrit Mishra, Chief Operating Officer, TATA Starbucks, said, “We are delighted to bring the Starbucks experience to Northeast India with our first store in Shillong. Located in the heart of the city at the iconic Police Bazar, the store invites customers to come together over handcrafted beverages, thoughtfully curated food, and meaningful moments of connection. The wide array of offerings includes Starbucks signature Java Chip Frappuccino and Zesty Orange Cold Brew made with premium-quality arabica beans, refreshing choices such as the Strawberry Açaí and Mango Dragonfruit refreshers, alongside health-forward options including Protein Cold Foam in Chocolate, Banana and Vanilla, and zero-sugar Vanilla, Hazelnut and Caramel flavours for added customisation.
The food menu features a selection of fresh and flavourful offerings, including the Mushroom Melt Sandwich, Tofu & Spinach Croissant Sandwich and Bhuna Chicken Puff, complemented by the beloved Double Chocolate Chip Cookie and Banana Chocolate Loaf Cake.
