Shillong, Oct 13: Cabinet has approved the regularisation of 26 employees appointed on ad hoc basis against sanctioned posts before the cut-off date of December 31.
Briefing reporters after the cabinet meeting on Tuesday ( Oct 13), Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that this is the fifth batch of regularisation undertaken in accordance with the Supreme Court’s ruling.

Over the past few years, nearly 4,000 employees have benefited from this process, and the latest decision ensures that 26 more employees who were left out are also covered, he said.
