Shillong, Oct 20: The year-long platinum jubilee celebrations of Lumparing Vidyapith School, culminated on October 14, with a ceremony, marking a memorable milestone in the 75 year journey of the institution.
The ceremony was graced by Sanbor Shullai, Cabinet Minister in-charge of Arts and Culture, , who attended as Chief Guest. LRuby Z. Das Addl. D.S.E.L, West Garo Hills, Tura and I/C Jt DSEL, Meghalaya Shillong was the Guest of Honour.
Ayushi Pradhan, SDO, Sadar, East Khasi Hills was the dignitary of eminence, while I. Kharduit, D.S.E.O., East Khasi Hills District, was the Special Guest.
The ceremony / programme under the leadership of President Nanigopal Das and Secretary Ajoy Kumar Das featured a vibrant array of cultural presentations, showcasing the rich heritage and talent of the students and members of the school community. They highlighted the school’s rich history and its ongoing dedication to fostering academic excellence in the region. A school souvenir was also released on the occasion.
