Shillong, June 4: The police have asked the families of the minors who are victims of sexual abuse in a village in West Khasi Hills to report if there are more cases.
West Khasi Hills SP Bikram Marak said the alleged accused Mebanrilang Shangoi (22) abused 15 minors both male and female.

“He was arrested a few days ago, though only 15 cases were reported, we feel that there will be more cases involving the accused”, the SP said.
“We have created a platform so that more victims, if any, can come and report to us, the SP said.
The matter came to light aftter mother of one of the victims lodged a complaint with the police.
