Shillong, Feb 11: AHAM has extended support to the pressure groups demanding the removal of GHADC EC Rakesh Sangma.
A protest meeting is scheduled on February 14 for the cause.

AHAM president George Cherian Momin said that there is nothing personal or communal in the demand as one who holds the post of CEM should know the culture and tradition.
According to AHAM, one who heads the institution should have been brought up in the culture and tradition of the place.
