Shillong, April 14: The state government has clarified that April 14 will be a working day and only a restricted holiday has been declared.
The government said on Saturday that a ‘fake news item declaring the 14th of April 2025 as a Government holiday has been circulating in certain social media platforms. It is hereby clarified that the Government of Meghalaya has not declared a holiday on the 14th of April 2025. It is Restricted Holiday (RH) and remains so’.
