Shillong, Jan 28: The budget session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will start from February 16.
An official with the Assembly Secretariat said that the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) will decide the number of days for the budget session which will start from February 16.

The BAC meeting will be held on February 2.
Meghalaya used to hold the budget session from March bu the sources indicated that the early summoning of the session may be due to the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
