Shillong, June 6: Sri Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture in Collaboration with Lions Club of Shillong Divas celebrated World Environment Day on June 5.
Around 25 saplings were planted on the premises of SAIICS.
The saplings were sponsored by the Forest Department.
The members of Lion Club and Farida Khan, Principal, Mother’s School and Media Executive and devotees of SAIICS planted the saplings.

The event was supported by Meghalaya Basin Development Authority.
The theme of the programme was only one earth.
