Shillong, Jan 9: Wednesday’s bad weather prediction for Thursday has forced President of India Droupadi Murmu to cancel the opening of golden jubilee celebrations of Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR), Umiam, Ri Bhoi.
However, the weather condition on Thursday was found to be normal.

Ri Bhoi SP Vivekanand Singh confirmed the cancellation of her visit.
Besides inaugurating the jubilee celebrations, she was to visit the farmers’ expo on the occasion and interact with the farmers.
